Tips for completing the Surge game. Game Walkthrough #058

How to accumulate a large amount of technical scrap?

There is a small loophole in this chapter of our guide to The Surge that will allow you to accumulate more technical scrap, which is used as currency to upgrade your character and his equipment.

Collecting scrap metal can be difficult, as you will encounter more and more powerful enemies during your journey. However, the opponents you encountered in earlier locations can be exchanged for guards, which can be quite difficult, but will bring much more technical scrap.

The scheme is as follows:

Choose MedBay as close to the opponent as possible;

Equip implants that increase the amount of scrap to be mined and engage the enemy.;

Lure the enemy as close as possible to the entrance to MedBay. You can jump, which is definitely audible, or just use the drone to hit the enemy.

Defeat your opponent and steal the crowbar, then log into MedBay. Now, instead of using Medbay, interact with the Gear Assembly to revive the enemy.

Repeat the process until you have accumulated the required amount of scrap. Surprisingly, this approach is more than viable, given that the amount of stolen currency increases the longer you avoid using MedBay. The multiplier is reset to zero in case of death, so stay close to MedBay to be able to pick up your scrap in case of defeat.

The whole process is dull and monotonous, but it's the most convenient way to accumulate scrap.

Consider purchasing Reclamation Buddy implants, as they can increase the amount of scrap received by up to 40%.

How do I get the Ironmaus armor?

In this chapter of the guide, you will learn what it takes to get an Ironmaus armor in The Surge. Receiving this armor is rewarded with a special It Lives trophy!

Ironmaus Armor Requirements

To get armor, you must have a core at least level 70 - you must block the circuit next to the place where the armor was hidden. This activates the nearest machine.

When interacting with the machine, you must use all five coins that can be obtained by defeating the melting robots. The first one is located in an Abandoned Production location. Two more can be found in the recycling area in Central Production B. The next one is in the Resolve BioLab, to the right of the courtyard. The latter is located on the first floor of the Ventilation Tower. transescort.org/trans/india/
